Seoul Children's Grand Park

The park is located at 216 Neungdong‑ro, Gwangjin‑gu, Seoul, and is easily accessible from central Seoul. It is open daily from early morning until late evening, while the zoo, gardens, and some attractions usually close by late afternoon. Admission to the park itself is free, but certain rides, the zoo, and the Children’s Museum require tickets. Families with children will find the park especially appealing due to its combination of outdoor activities, educational exhibits, and natural scenery.

Although the park is free to enter, many of its attractions, including the zoo and the Children’s Museum, require additional tickets, and the museum often needs prior reservation. Weekends and holidays tend to be crowded, so arriving early is recommended. Comfortable shoes, water, and sun protection are advisable, as there is plenty of walking. Cafés are available inside the park, but bringing light snacks can make your visit more convenient. The zoo and gardens close earlier than the park itself, so it is best to plan these visits before late afternoon.

Seoul Children’s Grand Park is conveniently accessible by subway and taxi. Visitors can take Line 5 to Gunja Station and walk approximately ten minutes, or take Line 7 to Children’s Grand Park Station, Exit 1, which is a short walk to the entrance. Taxis from central Seoul take around 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic, while driving allows access to on-site parking, though it can fill quickly on busy days. Public transportation is often the easiest option.
