The Jordan Archaeological Museum is open daily from 8 AM to 7 PM in summer and 8 AM to 4 PM in winter. Entry is included with the Amman Citadel ticket, which costs 3 JOD for adults. One of its most famous artifacts is the ‘Ain Ghazal statues, dating back to around 6500 BC, making them some of the oldest known human sculptures in the world. Since the museum is small, it’s best to combine your visit with a tour of the Amman Citadel.
