Your tour start with a pickup from your hotel or airport by our guide and get transfereed to Kibera Slum where you will start your tour. It’s believed that Kibera is the biggest slum in Africa. While people from Kibera live in unspeakable poverty, they have an unwavering sense of community and care for others. But they need our help. Alongside desperate healthcare, housing, and sanitation challenges, the families in Kibera need education and employment opportunities in order to solve issues longer term.
We fund children’s education through their scholarship programme, as well as providing Kibera residents with the means to start their own businesses so that they can go on to support themselves and their families.
In addition to funding children’s education, its has Women Empowerment Programme, promoting entrepreneurship among the economically vulnerable women of Kibera and providing them with the means to start their own businesses.
They, like us, firmly believe not in short-term fixes but in long-term solutions, as expressed by the proverb: “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime. Our donations tours provide scholarships, books, and supplies to local children with their daily needs such as food and housing as well as financial aid to cover school fees and other educational needs.
