Discover the breathtaking landscapes of Pamukkale and its famous thermal springs on a full-day tour from Selcuk, Kusadasi, or Izmir. Your day begins in the morning with a hotel pick-up, where you will meet your driver/guide and travel comfortably towards Pamukkale.
Once there, explore the ancient city of Hierapolis, built on limestone terraces shaped over thousands of years by mineral-rich thermal waters. Visit the city’s most important landmarks, including the Theatre, the Temple of Apollo, and the impressive Necropolis.
Hierapolis Necropolis is one of the largest ancient cemeteries in Anatolia, and you will also see key structures such as the Roman Baths, the Gate of Domitian, the main ancient street, and the Byzantine Gate, offering a fascinating insight into the city’s past.
Continue to the famous natural terraces, created by warm, calcium-rich waters that flow year-round at around 35°C. Admire the striking white travertine formations of Pamukkale, located right next to the ruins of Hierapolis, and enjoy the unique scenery.
You will also have free time to optionally swim in Cleopatra’s Thermal Pool before the tour concludes with a comfortable transfer back to your hotel. During the journey, you may also have the opportunity to see traditional Turkish handicrafts and local artisan products.
