Starfield Library

Starfield Library is free to enter and does not require reservations. It is open daily from approximately 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM. In addition to a large collection of Korean books, some international titles and magazines are available. The library is equipped with tables, soft seating, and power outlets, allowing visitors to read or relax comfortably. Beyond being a library, it serves as a cultural hub where small exhibitions and events sometimes take place, making every visit a unique experience.

The library is very popular among both tourists and locals, especially on weekends and holidays, so visiting during weekday mornings or later in the evening is ideal to avoid crowds. For photography, early hours or just before closing time offer the best opportunity for clear shots. Visitors should maintain quiet and respect other guests, as it is a public reading space. While lower shelves are accessible for reading, many upper shelves are decorative and not intended for handling.

Getting to Starfield Library is easy thanks to Seoul’s efficient subway system. The nearest station is Samseong Station on Line 2, with exits 5 or 6 leading directly into COEX Mall. Bongeunsa Station on Line 9 is also nearby, and a short walk from exit 7 brings you to the mall’s east entrance. From areas like Myeongdong or Hongdae, the subway ride takes roughly 30–40 minutes. English signage throughout the stations and mall makes navigation simple, even for first-time visitors.
