Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond

Donggung Palace was originally built in 674 CE and rebuilt several times over the centuries. Wolji Pond is an artificial pond designed to enhance the beauty of the palace grounds. Today, the site is managed by Gyeongju City and is recognized as a historic landmark. Visitors can walk along the pond’s perimeter and enjoy the view of restored pavilions.
