Paşabağ is located between Avanos and Göreme and is part of the Göreme National Park area. It is open daily, with an entrance fee collected at the gate. The site has marked walking paths, small shops and rest areas. It’s suitable for all ages and requires only light walking.
Wear comfortable shoes, as the paths are sandy and slightly uneven. Bring water, sunscreen and a hat because shade is limited. The site can get busy during peak hours, especially with tour groups, so planning your timing helps. Drones are generally not allowed inside the valley. Photography is highly encouraged, especially in early light.
Paşabağ is easily reachable from Göreme, Avanos or Ürgüp by car, taxi or local tour services. The drive from Göreme takes about 10 minutes. Public buses rarely stop here, so private transport or a guided tour is the most convenient option. Parking is available near the entrance.
Early morning is ideal for cooler temperatures and fewer crowds. Late afternoon also offers beautiful lighting over the fairy chimneys. Spring and autumn provide the most comfortable weather, while summer can be quite hot during midday.
