Tirta Empul Temple, one of Bali’s most important and sacred temples, is renowned for its holy spring water, which is believed to have purifying and healing powers. Located near the town of Tampaksiring, about a 30-minute drive from Ubud, this ancient Hindu temple complex dates back to 962 AD and is dedicated to Vishnu, the god of water.
