There were too many people in big groups. The overall experience was decent but didn’t match the description. We visited the prison and saw the turtles, but the island was very crowded. Don’t rely on Instagram — photo spots are tiny and you’ll have to wait. As for the food, they serve plenty of fries and rice, but seafood is limited. The guides seemed to eat well while others had less. The city tour was enjoyable. One piece of advice: buy your souvenirs from local vendors on the island; prices are much higher in Stone Town. Still, it was a good trip overall.

The hotel pickup was punctual. After about an hour's drive to Stone Town, we boarded a boat to Prison Island. The old prison and the giant tortoises and pheasants living there were truly fascinating. After that, we continued to Nakupenda — a stunning little island. We enjoyed a tasty seafood meal there. After staying for just under two hours, we returned to Stone Town, where our German-speaking guide gave us a tour of the city. We took a taxi back to the hotel in the evening. The whole day was packed with memorable moments. Absolutely five stars.

Everything was really well arranged. We loved each stop we made, and the guides were truly outstanding. Visiting Prison Island was a meaningful highlight. The sandbank was stunning, although a bit too crowded for such a small area. Still, it was a memorable day in a gorgeous location.
