Souss-Massa National Park

The park covers more than 30,000 hectares and includes two major river estuaries: the Oued Souss and Oued Massa. Visitors will find walking paths, lookout points and guided nature routes. Wildlife includes flamingos, gazelles, foxes and many migratory birds. Some areas require a guide, while others can be explored independently. There is a small entry fee in certain zones, and basic facilities are available near visitor points.

Wear comfortable shoes and bring sun protection, as the park is open and can be hot during the day. Binoculars are useful for spotting wildlife, especially birds. Water and snacks should be carried, as services inside the park are limited. Photography is allowed, but keeping a respectful distance from animals is important. Early arrivals also enjoy better wildlife sightings and quieter walking trails.

Souss-Massa National Park lies around 45–60 minutes south of Agadir by car. The easiest way to reach it is by taxi, private driver or organized nature tour. If you rent a car, routes are well-marked along the coast toward Tifnit or Sidi Rbat, where park entrances are located. Some guided tours include hotel pickup, making the trip simple for visitors without transport.
