Eagle Pharmacy Museum

The Eagle Pharmacy Museum, located in Kraków’s historic Podgórze district, preserves the wartime legacy of the former Apteka Pod Orłem. During World War II, it stood inside the Kraków Ghetto and became a place of refuge, courage, and secret aid. Run by Tadeusz Pankiewicz, the pharmacy offered help to Jewish residents despite extreme danger. Today the museum recreates its original rooms, displaying period furniture, documents, and artifacts that tell powerful stories of survival and humanity.
