Alles über Pico do Arieiro

Was Sie erwartet

The viewpoint is free to visit and has a café, a souvenir shop and a parking area. The summit is also the starting point of the iconic hiking trail to Pico Ruivo. Because of its altitude, weather can change quickly. Temperatures at the top are often much cooler than in Funchal, so bring layers even on sunny days.

Warum diese Tour buchen

Pico do Arieiro can be windy and cold, especially at sunrise. Wear sturdy footwear if you plan to hike the mountain trails, as paths can be steep and narrow in places. Visibility varies — some days you’ll see endless views; other days clouds roll in. Checking the weather forecast before leaving Funchal is highly recommended.
