The Plaza de los Naranjos is the central hub, featuring decorative fountains and cafés. Narrow pedestrian streets lead to hidden courtyards, boutique shops, and tapas bars, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll while soaking in the town’s unique atmosphere.

Exploring Marbella’s Old Town is best done on foot and at a relaxed pace. Many streets are pedestrian-only, so comfortable shoes are recommended. During spring and summer, the scent of orange blossoms fills the air, and shaded plazas provide a welcome rest. The area has numerous small shops, traditional tapas bars, and cafes, so it’s ideal to stop and enjoy local food and drinks. Some alleys are very narrow, so large vehicles cannot enter, making the streets quiet and safe for walking.

Marbella Old Town is centrally located and easily accessible from the beachfront and nearby neighborhoods. Walking from the promenade is convenient, and local taxis or buses can drop you near the main entrances. Car parking is limited inside the historic district, but public lots are available along the outskirts. Once inside, the best way to explore is on foot to fully appreciate the charming streets and hidden corners.
