Berlin Story Bunker

The Berlin Story Bunker is open daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with the last admission allowed at 5:30 PM. Admission costs €12 for adults and €9 for students and youth aged 6 to 17, while children under 5 enter free of charge. Visitors can enjoy audio guides available in both German and English to enhance their experience. Small bags are permitted inside the museum, and lockers may be available for storing larger items. Please note that the bunker has stairs and concrete surfaces, so it’s recommended to check in advance about accessibility options such as lifts or assistance at the entrance.

Visitors should plan to spend between 90 and 120 minutes for a thorough visit to the Berlin Story Bunker, although a shorter tour can be completed in around 60 minutes. Non-flash photography is generally allowed unless otherwise indicated by signs. Due to the sensitive and intense historical content, the museum is best suited for teenagers with an interest in history, and adult supervision is recommended. Please note that pets are not permitted inside the museum.

The Berlin Story Bunker is easily accessible by public transportation. Visitors can take the S-Bahn lines S1, S2, or S25 to Anhalter Bahnhof, which is just a 0.1 km walk from the museum. Alternatively, the U-Bahn options include the U2 line to Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park, about 0.4 km away, or the U1, U12, or U3 lines to Möckernbrücke, roughly 0.5 km from the site. Several buses, such as the M29 or M41, stop at Schöneberger Brücke, only 0.2 km away. For those who prefer walking, the bunker is located near Potsdamer Platz and is easily reachable on foot from central Berlin.
