Water Activities
Suluada is a small, uninhabited island located off the coast of Adrasan, about 90 km southwest of Antalya. Nicknamed the “Turkish Maldives”, the island is famous for its turquoise waters, white sand beaches, and natural beauty. Surrounded by clean, shallow bays and underwater caves, it’s a perfect escape for swimming, snorkeling, and photography. Because there are no buildings or settlements, Suluada remains a pristine nature destination – ideal for travelers looking to relax away from the city.

Location: Off the coast of Adrasan, Antalya Province
Access: Only reachable by boat from Adrasan
Facilities: No shops, restaurants, or toilets on the island
Activities: Swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, boat tours
Tour Cost: Around €25–€35 (lunch often included)
Duration: Full-day tours (approx. 6–8 hours total)
There are no services on the island, so bring your own sun protection, water, snacks, swimwear, and towels. Most boat tours provide lunch and soft drinks. Some also offer snorkeling gear. Wear comfortable sandals or water shoes, as parts of the beach are pebbly. Mobile signal is limited, and there are no toilets, so plan ahead. Suluada is part of a protected area, so please respect nature and avoid leaving trash behind.
From Antalya city center, drive or take a bus to Adrasan (approx. 1.5 to 2 hours). Most day tours include hotel pickup and transfer. From Adrasan Harbor, boats leave between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM, returning around 4:00 PM. Tour operators are available in Antalya, Kemer, and Adrasan. Booking in advance during summer months is recommended, as boats fill quickly due to high demand.
The best time to visit Suluada is between May and October, when the sea is warm and the weather is sunny. June and September are ideal, offering fewer crowds and still-perfect beach weather. Try to go on a weekday to avoid weekend rush. Mornings are calmer on the water, and the earlier you go, the better the chance to enjoy the island peacefully before it gets busy.
