Catedral do Porto is located in the historic center at Terreiro da Sé. It is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Entrance to the cathedral is free, but access to the cloister costs €3. A combined ticket with the Episcopal Palace is available for €5. Guided tours are also offered.
Dress modestly as it is a place of worship. Photography is allowed, but flash is prohibited. The cobblestone square around the cathedral is perfect for photos, but wear comfortable shoes. The terrace viewpoint is a must-see for stunning cityscape photos.
From São Bento Railway Station, it’s a 5-minute walk uphill through Rua das Flores. The nearest metro station is São Bento (Line D). Several bus routes also stop nearby.
