Basilica di San Zeno Maggiore is one of Verona’s most important religious sites, celebrated for its stunning Romanesque architecture. Built between the 9th and 12th centuries, the basilica houses the tomb of San Zeno, Verona’s patron saint. The façade, with its striking rose window known as the "Wheel of Fortune," is a masterpiece. Inside, you’ll find impressive frescoes and the altar where, according to legend, Romeo and Juliet were married.
