Driver Arman and trekking guide Ketut were both amazing. Arman was an excellent driver, and Ketut was a perfectly balanced, patient, and understanding guide. As it was my first time, I’m so grateful for their help throughout the journey. I truly enjoyed this trip—watching the sunset, seeing the Milky Way, and finishing with delicious traditional food. It was so much fun, and I highly recommend the Mount Batur sunrise trekking!

My favorite part of the sunrise trek, apart from the exciting physical challenge, was chatting with the locals both during and after the hike.

Climbing alone is no longer something to worry about or be afraid of, as we had experienced tour guides and drivers accompanying me and my friends during the trek on Mount Batur. The route took about 2 hours, and we were provided with snacks and climbing gear, all of which were included in the price we paid.

The view is incredible and totally worth the hike. Just a heads up, don't expect to find parking nearby. We gave up on that and decided to take the shuttle bus, which runs regularly.
