The trip to Cairo was an amazing experience! You should be ready for a long bus ride with a few checkpoints, but it was absolutely worth it. The museum was fascinating, and of course, the pyramids in the afternoon were the highlight of the day. Our tour guide was fantastic—he spoke excellent German, was friendly and funny, and did his best to explain all the history to us. Before returning to Hurghada, we had a short stop at a shop, which I guess is just part of the tour. Overall, it was a wonderful day!

This trip was truly incredible! The minivan was clean and had fully working air conditioning. The drive was smooth and comfortable, with plenty of breaks, so the journey didn’t feel long at all. From the moment our guide joined us, she began sharing her knowledge about the city. She was extremely knowledgeable, answering all our questions and explaining Egypt’s history in detail. We also enjoyed a boat ride on the Nile, visited a fragrance oil shop, and saw how Papyrus art is made. The museum offered fascinating insights into Egypt’s history, and seeing the pyramids and the Sphinx in person was absolutely awe-inspiring. This trip not only changed my perception of Egypt but also made me eager to return and explore more of its cities and history.A big thank you to the team who communicated with us from the moment we booked, as well as our drivers and our amazing guide. The tour departs from Hurghada at night, but you still get a full day to explore Cairo and Giza, so don’t be discouraged. The schedule was well organized for the different stops, everything ran smoothly, and it turned out to be a very rewarding day. I especially want to highlight our guide, Mo, who shared his extensive knowledge of Egyptology, was very approachable, and took the time needed at each stop.

We had done this excursion 15 years ago with another agency, and we wanted to experience it again with our children, aged 4 and 9. The journey is very long—12 hours round trip—but since most of it is at night, it hardly felt tiring. The drivers were discreet and attentive throughout. Our guide was very informative and involved our children during the museum and pyramid visits. He even arranged a camel ride for us in front of the pyramids (€20 for 2 camels, two people per camel), which the kids absolutely loved. Unlike our first visit, we had plenty of time at the pyramids and the Sphinx to take all our photos. Lunch was a buffet and very enjoyable. We do not regret taking this excursion.
