Day 1: Cairo – Bahariya Oasis – White Desert Camping
At 07:00 a.m., after breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, you will be met by your Nile Holiday professional tour guide and driver for departure toward Bahariya Oasis. The journey covers approximately 360 kilometers and takes around 4–5 hours, passing through changing landscapes from the Nile Valley to the Western Desert. Upon arrival in Bahariya Oasis, you will transfer to a fully equipped 4x4 Land Cruiser to begin your desert exploration.
Your first stop will be El Heiz, a traditional Bedouin village, where you will enjoy a freshly prepared lunch. Afterward, the adventure continues through the Black Desert, known for its dark volcanic hills, followed by visits to golden sand dunes and the sparkling Crystal Mountain, a unique geological site rich in quartz crystals. You will then proceed through the stunning Aqabat Valley, surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs, on your way to the White Desert National Park.
In the late afternoon, you will arrive at the camping site within the White Desert, where you will set up camp among surreal white chalk rock formations shaped by centuries of wind and sand erosion. Enjoy a breathtaking desert sunset, followed by dinner and a peaceful overnight stay under the stars at the campsite in the Al Heiz area.
Day 2: White Desert – Bahariya Oasis – Cairo
Wake up early to enjoy a magical sunrise over the White Desert and have breakfast at the campsite. Afterward, explore the remarkable landscapes of the New White Desert before returning to Bahariya Oasis for lunch. In the afternoon, begin your drive back to Cairo, arriving in the evening with unforgettable memories of this unique desert experience.
