Spirited Garden

Spirited Garden is located at 675 Nokchabunjaero in Hangyeongmyeon, Jeju City. It generally opens daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with last entries about an hour before closing. Entrance fees are approximately 12,000 KRW for adults, with discounted rates for seniors, teens, and children. The site includes a café, restrooms, a gift shop, and offers free wheelchair and stroller rentals. Leashed pets are welcome, and visitors can comfortably explore the garden at a relaxed pace in around one to one and a half hours.

The garden is designed for slow walking and contemplation, so comfortable shoes are recommended. Paths are mostly barrier-free, making it accessible for wheelchairs and families with strollers. The seasonal beauty varies, with spring and autumn showcasing vibrant flowers and foliage, while winter provides a quiet, peaceful ambiance. Spirited Garden is also a photography hotspot thanks to its bonsai, ponds, stone walls, and waterfalls. Visitors should plan their arrival with enough time, as tickets are only sold until about an hour before closing.

From Jeju City, Spirited Garden is roughly a forty to sixty-minute drive depending on traffic. It is easily accessible by car or taxi, with a direct ride costing approximately 25,000 to 35,000 KRW. Public buses also reach the west Jeju area, though a short walk may be required from the nearest stop. The garden is conveniently located just a few minutes from the famous O’sulloc Tea Museum, allowing visitors to combine both destinations on the same day for a fuller experience.
