Located around 15 kilometers east of Antalya city center, Lara Beach is easily accessible and well-equipped with facilities such as sunbeds, cafes, restrooms, and beach bars. It’s a Blue Flag beach, meaning it meets high environmental and safety standards. The area is also famous for its luxury all-inclusive resorts, many of which offer private sections of the beach. Public access areas are available too, especially near Lara Public Beach Park.
Bring sunscreen, swimwear, and plenty of water—Antalya’s sun can be strong during summer months. Some areas charge small fees for sunbeds and umbrellas, while public zones are free. Lifeguards are on duty in most parts, and water sports rentals are available. Try local snacks or fresh juices from the beach kiosks for a quick refreshment.
From Antalya city center, you can reach Lara Beach in about 20–25 minutes by car, taxi, or bus. City buses (like LC07 or KL08) frequently run from the main stations to Lara. For convenience, many hotels offer shuttle transfers directly to the beach.
The best time to visit Lara Beach is between May and October when the weather is warm and the sea is calm. Mornings are perfect for swimming and quieter relaxation, while late afternoons offer stunning sunsets.
